New Student Branch Website Officially Launched

29 July 2026

The ASHRAE Student Branch at the University of Strathclyde is delighted to announce the official launch of its new website, marking an exciting step forward in strengthening communication, engagement, and collaboration within our growing community.

The website was officially unveiled during the Branch’s Monthly Members’ Meeting on 29 July 2026, where members were introduced to its features and future vision. Designed as a central hub for the Student Branch, the website provides a dedicated platform to showcase our activities and support both current and prospective members.

Visitors to the website can explore the latest news, discover upcoming and past events, learn about membership opportunities, and access information on the Branch’s knowledge exchange activities, collaborations, and professional development initiatives. The website will continue to evolve, providing an up-to-date resource for students, researchers, academics, and industry professionals interested in the built environment and HVAC&R.

The launch of the website reflects the Branch’s commitment to creating an accessible and inclusive community where members can stay informed, connect with one another, and engage with the wide range of opportunities offered through ASHRAE.

A special thank you goes to Joslyn Ratcliff, Senior Manager of Marketing Communications at ASHRAE, and Rebecca Branta, Graphic Designer at ASHRAE, for their invaluable guidance and support throughout the development of the website. Their expertise in branding, visual identity, and communications helped ensure that the website aligns with ASHRAE’s global brand while maintaining a welcoming identity for our Student Branch.

We would also like to thank everyone who contributed ideas, feedback, and content during the development process. Their support has helped create a platform that will continue to grow alongside the Student Branch.

As our activities continue to expand, the website will play an important role in sharing news, promoting events, celebrating achievements, and strengthening connections between our members, the University, the ASHRAE community, and industry partners.

We invite everyone to explore the new website and stay connected as we continue to connect, learn, innovate, and lead together.
